Pulaski County Special School District Takes Steps to Boost Student Attendance and Support Well-Being

New Health Clinic to Support PCSSD’s Attendance Improvement Initiatives Opening in August

The Pulaski County Special School District is committed to helping ill students achieve their educational goals. Despite facing challenges with student absenteeism throughout the past school year, the district is taking steps to improve attendance and support the well-being of its students.

During Attendance Awareness Month last September, the average daily attendance of students varied between 95 and 96%. In response to this issue, the district is implementing strategies to improve attendance and ensure that all students have the opportunity to thrive academically.

Upcoming events organized by the Pulaski County Special School District will focus on raising awareness about the importance of student attendance and its impact on academic success. By coming together as a community, we can work towards creating a supportive environment for all students to succeed.
