Protecting Your Trades: Safeguarding Cybersecurity in the International Grain Trade

Jordan purchases 110,000 tons of barley feed through a tender process

On Wednesday, European traders reported that the Jordanian government company responsible for purchasing grain bought approximately 110,000 tons of barley animal feed through an international tender. The purchases included 50,000 tons from Ameropa at a price of $216 per ton, including shipping costs, with delivery scheduled for the first half of August. An additional 60,000 tons were acquired from Nest Wise at the same price of $216 per ton, including shipping costs, for delivery in the second half of July.

However, these reports are based on assessments made by dealers and further estimates of prices and volumes may be provided at a later date. There have been concerns about potential security risks in online transactions and communications due to issues detected in certificate verification systems while accessing certain websites. It is crucial for traders to verify the legitimacy of websites and ensure that proper cybersecurity measures are in place to safeguard against potential risks.
