Infant Safety Expo hosted by Macomb County Health Department

Local parents and caregivers of babies under 1 year of age, as well as pregnant individuals, are invited to attend a FREE Infant Safety Expo hosted by the Macomb County Health Department in partnership with the Baby Resource Network of Macomb. The event will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Love Life Family Christian Center in Eastpointe.

Cheryl Woods, Division Director of Family Health Services at the Macomb County Health Department, emphasized the importance of the expo in providing essential information and resources for new parents and caregivers. “We encourage all pregnant individuals and parents of infants under 1 year old to take advantage of this no-cost opportunity,” she said.

At the Infant Safety Expo, attendees will have the chance to learn about important topics such as safe sleep practices, CPR and choking prevention, breastfeeding, and more. Lunch will be provided for all participants, and free gifts will be distributed along with raffle opportunities for additional prizes. Local vendors will also be present to offer additional educational resources.
