Diverse and inclusive workplaces are becoming increasingly popular, as research has shown that leaders play a crucial role in promoting psychological safety in teams. Up to a 70 percentage point difference in employees’ sense of belonging and psychological safety can be attributed to effective leadership. This was highlighted in Harvard Business Review and Google’s 2017 study on high-performing teams, where psychological safety was identified as a key factor in a team’s success.
On Wednesday, May 15, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Communities Foundation of Texas in Dallas, a panel will delve into the science of psychological safety in the workplace and provide practical steps that every leader can take to create a more inclusive and high-performing culture today. The event will also discuss the business case for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, how leaders can measure the impact of these efforts, and what metrics can be used to track progress.
The panelists for this event include Dr. Janet Ahn, Chief Behavioral Science Officer at MindGym, and Nate Bennett, Senior Vice President Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Comerica Bank. Tickets for the event are priced at $60 and complimentary self-parking will be available at the venue.
