Number of Chief Investment Officer Equity Bulls Triples Amid Strong Economy – Citywire Selector

The latest research on the Top 30 Super Allocators has revealed that private banks overweighting equities has increased by a factor of three since the end of last year. This surge can be attributed to the strong company earnings and healthy economies in major countries.

At the start of this year’s first quarter, 15 out of 27 chief investment officers were found to be overweighting equities as an asset class, a significant increase from the five out of 27 who held this view at the end of the fourth quarter in 2023. Moreover, only two out of 29 chief investment officers were overweighting equities just a year ago.

The data collected from Europe’s biggest private banks highlights a growing trend towards favoring equities in investment portfolios. This shift indicates a positive outlook on market performance and economic stability in the near future.
