Preview, Schedule, and Viewing Information

Nove Mesto is set to host the third round of the 2024 UCI XCO World Cup, and the women’s field promises to be a thrilling competition. Puck Pieterse, the defending champion from 2023, has already made her mark in Brazil and recently defended her title at the European Championships. She is expected to be a top contender at Nove Mesto once again.

Two other riders who have been impressive in Brazil are Jenny Rissveds from Sweden and Haley Batten from the USA. Batten currently leads the UCI rankings, with Rissveds close behind in second place. The USA’s Savillia Blunk has also been a consistent presence on the podium, finishing in second and third place so far.

New contenders are joining the race as well. World Champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot of France is making her 2024 debut at Nove Mesto after finishing second there last year. Austria’s Mona Mitterwallner is also looking forward to making her mark on the European tour after missing out on Brazil due to illness.

With such an impressive lineup of riders, fans can expect an exciting showdown at Nove Mesto as the women’s division takes center stage on the European tour.
