Los Angeles will play host to the Invest West conference on May 8, where top executives, owners, athletes, and investors from the sports and entertainment industry will gather. The event, also known as Invest in Sports Los Angeles, promises a full day of programming and networking opportunities with industry leaders at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood.
Among the speakers at the conference is Alexis Ohanian, a general partner at Seven Seven Six and owner of the NWSL’s Angel City Football Club and L.A. Golf Club. Ohanian was previously a partner at Y Combinator and the founder of Reddit. He is married to tennis star Serena Williams, with whom he has two daughters.
Other notable speakers at the event include Todd Boehly and Stan Kasten of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kevin Demoff of the Los Angeles Rams, Dan Beckerman of AEG, and Julie Uhrman of Angel City Football Club.
