Port Orchard FC Looks to Make Its Mark in Cascadia Premier League: Building on a Strong Foundation

Port Orchard FC set to face off against Cascadia Premier League in season-opener this Sunday

Port Orchard FC is gearing up for their 2024 season with a focus on success. The team, led by head coach Patrick Leonard, won the Cascadia Premier League Division 2 in 2023 and was promoted to the first division. They finished their inaugural season with a perfect record of 12-0, culminating in a win over Nido Aguila 2.

With Leonard returning for his second season as head coach, Port Orchard FC is determined to take on the challenges of the new season. Their first league match will be against Tacoma Stars Reserves at Kitsap Bank Stadium on Sunday at 3 p.m. This will be just one of eight league matches in the CPL Rainier Division, where Port Orchard FC will face tough opponents such as Sporting International, Eastside FC, and Washington Premier FC throughout the season.

In addition to their league matches, Port Orchard FC will also play two home friendlies against FC Inter and FC Oly. They recently secured a victory in a friendly against Steel United with a game-winning goal scored by former Bremerton High School player Nick Riders. The team is looking to build on their successes from last season and make a strong impression during the upcoming campaign in the Cascadia Premier League.

Port Orchard FC has come a long way since its founding and has shown dedication and hard work towards achieving its goals. With Leonard’s leadership and determination, the team is ready to face any challenge that comes their way this season and continue to grow both as players and as a team.
