Poll Shows Biden Loses Trust on Inflation and Economy as Trump Lags Behind by One Percentage Point

Survey Reveals Which Presidential Candidate Voters Confide In Regarding Economy and Inflation

According to a recent poll by ABC News/Ipsos, President Joe Biden has lost the trust of voters in his ability to handle inflation and the economy. The survey found that 88% of respondents identified the economy as a key issue, while 85% cited inflation as a concern. When asked which candidate they trusted more to handle these issues, only 32% favored Biden compared to 46% who supported former President Donald Trump.

One-quarter of voters indicated that they did not trust either candidate to tackle the issue of inflation. Despite these findings, the poll showed Trump leading Biden by just one percentage point, with ten percent of voters preferring another candidate. Among registered voters, Biden had a slight lead over Trump at 46% to 45%, while among likely voters, Biden’s support increased to 49% with Trump at 45%. These results reflect the divided opinions of voters on key economic issues and the competitive nature of the upcoming election between Trump and Biden.
