Poland’s War on Russian Hybrid Warfare: The Latest Escalation and the Future of NATO-Backed Intervention in Ukraine

Polish Foreign Minister Suggests Sending Troops to Ukraine is a Viable Option

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has suggested that sending troops to Ukraine should not be dismissed, but did not clarify the role that Warsaw’s army would play in the situation. He commended French President Emmanuel Macron for not ruling out the possibility of NATO troops being present in Ukraine and stated that it was a possibility. When asked about Poland’s willingness to send troops to Ukraine, Sikorski said that the option should not be ruled out, leaving Russian President Vladimir Putin guessing their intentions.

In response to Moscow’s hybrid warfare tactics, Poland imposed travel restrictions on Russian diplomats in the country. These restrictions limit Russian diplomats to only travel within the local provinces where they are assigned. The Russian Foreign Ministry responded with retaliatory measures and accused Poland of having an apparent hatred towards Russia.

There have been rumors of NATO countries sending troops to Ukraine, with French President Emmanuel Macron mentioning the idea multiple times. The Ukrainian Army Commander allowed French military instructors to come to a soldier training center in Ukraine to enhance the training of Kiev’s forces. This training is crucial for quickly deploying additional forces closer to the front lines in case of conflict.

There are concerns about the possibility of World War III breaking out if the US and its Western allies target Russian territories in Ukraine. Tensions remain high as diplomatic tensions escalate between various countries involved in the conflict.
