PlayStation Showcases Impressive Lineup of Upcoming Games in 2024 and 2025

New Features in the Latest PlayStation State of Play: Concord, Silent Hill 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds

The Latest State of Play from PlayStation showcased upcoming titles in 2024 and 2025, including Concord, a new space shooter, a remake of Silent Hill 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds. The event revealed 13 games coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, and PC platforms.

Among the games announced was Concord, a first-person shooter multiplayer game developed by Firewalk. Players will take on the role of mercenaries known as Freegunners in high-risk missions across Wild space worlds. The game will offer five-on-five adventures in the Concord galaxy on PS5 and PC in August 2024.

Silent Hill 2 was also given a remake by Bloober Team and is set to release on October 8 for PS5 and Steam. Capcom shared new images and gameplay for Monster Hunter Wilds, scheduled for a 2025 release, showcasing new characters and monsters.

PlayStation also announced a new adventure for Astro Bot, with players exploring six galaxies and over 80 levels in search of the lost crew. The game will feature new weapons, tools, and transformations and launch on consoles on September 6.

Other titles announced included Until Dawn for Fall 2024, Dinasty Warriors: Origins for 2025, Behemoth by Skydance for PS VR2, Alien: Rogue Incursion, Path of Exile 2, Marvel Rivals closed beta on PS5 in July and the launch of a free fantasy action RPG called Path of Exile 2. God of War Ragnarok is set to arrive on PC on September
