In the survey, Portland’s pizza scene was identified as the city’s standout cuisine, praised for its quality and affordability. Local food writer Alice Reichert emphasized the high caliber of food in Portland without the need for high prices. Additionally, Ki’ikibáa, named The Oregonian’s 2023 Restaurant of the Year, was highlighted in the article.
Portland has been recognized for its culinary scene numerous times in the past and has been named the best food city in the US on multiple occasions.
