The Steelers have added another depth to their running back group with the signing of La’Mical Perine to the 90-man roster. This move comes after the signing of Jonathan Ward earlier in the week, which has further strengthened the team’s backfield.

During the regular season, he ran 22 times for 77 yards and caught three passes for 33 yards. Originally a fourth-round pick by the Jets in 2020, Perine ran for 263 yards and two touchdowns on 72 carries in 14 games for the team.
