In recognition of their exceptional achievements, Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) in Ponca City, Oklahoma held a ceremony to honor its 2023-2024 Guaranteed Graduates. This initiative, which has been running for nine years, continues to highlight excellence and dedication among students and industry partners. The Guaranteed Graduate Initiative has been instrumental in promoting a culture of high achievement and quality workforce development at PTC.
According to Traci Thorpe, Superintendent/CEO of Pioneer Technology Center, the goal of the initiative was to produce high-achieving students who would become quality employees in the workplace. This would ultimately lead to more productive companies within the district. Employers can rely on graduates who qualify for the guarantee as they have demonstrated outstanding attendance, a high grade point average, and have successfully completed their training programs. These graduates also hold industry-licensed credentials or certifications, giving them the necessary skills to succeed in their fields.
During the ceremony, several outstanding individuals were recognized for their excelling in their training programs and are now ready to enter the workforce. The list included a diverse group of students who had shown exceptional dedication and skill in their respective fields.
