Pinehurst Elementary Science Fair Showcases Student Knowledge on Natural Disasters

The Science Fair is hosted by Pinehurst Elementary School

Pinehurst Elementary School recently held a science fair where students showcased their knowledge on various natural disasters. Demonstrations included landslides, sand and dust storms, thunderstorms, and volcano eruptions. The students presented their projects to staff and families to demonstrate what they had learned.

The third-grade winners at the science fair were announced, with Torrie Stutzke’s class producing Camilla Bowman as the first-place winner, followed by Sophia Frank in second place and Owen Norris in third place. Felicia Beehner’s class also had winners, with Skylee Straw taking the first-place spot, followed by Kenadee Schultz in second place and Emrys Pierce in third place. Deborah Diedrich’s class winners were Rori Pileggi in first place, Orion Swanson in second place, and Daisy Gust in third place.

Each student showcased their project, from thunderstorm displays to volcano exhibitions, showing off their hard work and understanding of these natural disasters. The science fair was a great opportunity for students to apply what they had learned in their science studies and present it to an audience.
