Philadelphia is set to host the world’s largest pickle party this summer, as announced by The Big Dill, the leading authority in the pickle industry. On Saturday, June 15 from noon to 7 p.m., Xfinity Live! will play host to an ultimate pickle celebration that promises a diverse lineup of entertainment and activities for all ages.
Guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in a world of pickle wonders with live music, mummers, DJs, and emcees throughout the day. For those looking to dance the day away, a pickle rave with Xfinity’s own DJ Jay Roy will take place. Attendees can also indulge in pickle-inspired beverages and delicious food like pickle pizza, egg rolls, grilled cheese sandwiches and even ice cream.
After feasting on all the food and drink, guests can enjoy festival activities such as pickle pitching, ball games, rock climbing and more. Founder Kevin Baxter describes The Big Dill as more than just an event; it’s a movement that has gained global attention.
