Philadelphia Radio Personality Suspended for Unwanted Advance in Stadium Allegedly: Addressing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

Philadelphia sports radio legend, Howard Eskin, forbidden from entering Phillies stadium

Philadelphia sports radio personality Howard Eskin has been suspended from the Phillies’ home park for the rest of the MLB season after an unwelcome advance towards a stadium employee in May. The incident was brought to the attention of Audacy, the parent company of WIP radio, who issued a statement condemning Eskin’s behavior and taking immediate action to address the matter.

In their statement, Audacy expressed their deep concern over the allegations that Eskin made an unwanted kiss towards an Aramark employee at Citizens Bank Park. Following an investigation conducted by both Audacy and the Phillies, it was agreed that a suspension was necessary to address the situation.

Eskin, 73, has been a prominent figure in the Philadelphia sports scene since the 1980s, appearing on both radio and television. However, his actions towards the stadium employee have sparked controversy and led to his banishment from the Phillies’ home park for the rest of the MLB season. Despite his long history in the industry, Eskin’s actions have led to repercussions that highlight the importance of addressing and preventing sexual harassment in the workplace.
