Philadelphia Hosts Guinness World Record Attempt for the Largest Drag Story Time, Celebrating Pride Month

Philadelphia aims to break world record with drag story time event

Philadelphia is set to host a Guinness World Record attempt for the world’s largest drag story time, coinciding with the start of Pride month. Organized by The Philadelphia Gay News and sponsored by Visit Philly, the event is seeking audience members to participate in this unique reading experience.

Several drag performers from the Philadelphia region will be reading aloud from children’s books in an effort to set a world record. Brittany Lynn will be emceeing the record attempt, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that everyone involved stays on track. A Guinness World Records adjudicator will also be present to supervise the event and make sure that all guidelines are followed.

The event will take place at the National Constitution Center starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Those interested in attending are encouraged to pre-register online in order to participate in this historic event, which promises to be a fun and engaging way for everyone involved to celebrate their love of literature and community spirit during Pride month.
