The last time Peacock streamed an NFL game was in January during the playoffs, which was met with mixed reactions from viewers. Some were upset about having to subscribe to a streaming service to watch the game, while others appreciated the convenience of being able to watch it from anywhere.
This upcoming game will take place on a Friday in Sao Paulo, Brazil and may lead to some complaints from fans about the timing and location of the game. However, despite potential criticism, Peacock is likely to continue streaming NFL games in the future due to the success of the playoff game in January which resulted in record broadband usage and high ratings. Nearly 3 million people signed up for Peacock just to watch that playoff game and many have continued their subscription since then.
