This year, Collier County is set to host a unique twist on Fourth of July celebrations with one of the county’s first large-scale drone shows. Taking place at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex from 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, the event promises to be an exciting family affair with bounce houses, remote control cars, laser tag, face painting, and live music.

The main attraction of the event is sure to be the drone show organized by Sky Elements, a company known for their drone content creation and advertising. The show will feature 300 drones displaying images with Independence Day themes such as the American flag, fireworks, and eagles. Additionally, there will be images related to paradise and sports.

Marissa Baker, regional manager of Paradise Coast Sports Complex explained that drone shows offer an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fireworks displays while providing a greater range of creative possibilities. With drones allowing for intricate patterns, animations and texts to be displayed in the sky; this unique experience is sure to captivate spectators and leave them wanting more!
