Orlando Health Unveils New Free-Standing Emergency Room in Eustis, Addressing Growing Healthcare Needs in the Surrounding Communities

Orlando Health plans to construct a stand-alone emergency room in Lake County

A new free-standing emergency room will soon be built in Eustis, located at the corner of Dillard Road and U.S. Highway 441, by Orlando Health. The facility, which is across from Kohl’s department store, aims to meet the growing healthcare needs of Eustis and the surrounding communities. The 11,600-square-foot facility will include 10 examination rooms, an imaging suite, laboratory, and ambulance bay, with room for future development on the 9-acre property.

No information has been released regarding the number of employees needed to staff the facility or the timeline for construction. However, this new ER will complement the services provided by Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, which recently opened a new patient tower to expand its capacity. This addition of a new emergency room in Eustis will provide more options for residents seeking medical care. The new facility will be conveniently located near Advent Health Waterman, which also has its own emergency room.

This expansion reflects the continued growth and commitment of Orlando Health to meet the healthcare needs of the community. With this new facility in place, residents can access quality medical care quickly and efficiently when they need it most.
