Orange County’s Struggle with Food Safety: Restaurant Closures and Infestations

Orange County eateries closed after health inspection (March 21-28) – Orange County Register

The OC Health Care Agency issued orders for the closure of several restaurants and food vendors in Orange County from March 21 to March 28. During this time, Chick-fil-A in San Clemente was closed on March 25 due to a cockroach infestation but reopened on March 26. Malta Mexican Seafood in Westminster was also closed on March 22 for the same reason, while La Ranch Market in Stanton was closed due to insufficient hot water but reopened on March 28. Bombay Grill Bar & Banquet in Yorba Linda was closed on March 21 due to a rodent infestation but reopened on March 22. Additionally, HB Bagels & Cafe in Huntington Beach was closed on March 21 due to a cockroach infestation and allowed to reopen on March 22. Quan An 909 in Garden Grove was also closed for the same reason but reopened on March 25.
