Orange County Health Inspections: Restaurant and Food Vendor Closures and Reopenings

Health Inspectors Close Several Orange County Restaurants (April 11-18) – Reported by Orange County Register

Orange County health inspectors have recently ordered several restaurants and food vendors to close due to various infestations. The Korea Health Food Soup & Tea in Garden Grove was closed on April 17 due to a rodent infestation, while El Pollo Loco and Zait & Zaatar in Anaheim were also closed on the same day for cockroach infestations but reopened on April 18. Nutricion Poderosa in Anaheim was also closed on April 17 for a similar reason.

However, some establishments were able to reopen after being closed for a short time. Mayflower Express in Anaheim was closed on April 11 due to a cockroach infestation but was able to reopen on April 12. Updates from last week’s list include the resumption of food sales at Arco station in Garden Grove, which was ordered to stop on April 8 due to a rodent infestation, on April 12. TOGO’S in Anaheim, which was closed on April 9 due to plumbing issues, was allowed to reopen on April 15.
