Orange County Health Inspections: A Week of Restaurant Closures and Reopenings

Orange County restaurants inspected by health officials and closed down (May 30-June 6) – Orange County Register

Health inspectors from Orange County ordered the closure of several restaurants and food vendors from May 30 to June 6. Charlie’s Chili in Newport Beach was closed on June 5 due to a cockroach infestation, but was allowed to reopen the next day. The French Avenue at Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvina also faced a closure on June 4 for insufficient hot water, while Andalusia Kitchen in San Clemente was closed on the same day for a rodent infestation.

In addition, Quan Bun Ban Mai and 3 Blossoms in Westminster were both closed on June 4 for cockroach infestations, with Quan Bun Ban Mai reopening the next day. Lucky Seafood Supermarket in Garden Grove had to close on May 31 due to a sewage overflow and reopened on June 1. Quality Inn & Suites in Westminster was also closed on May 31, although the reason was not provided, and it reopened on June 1.
