Charlie’s Chili in Newport Beach was closed on June 5 due to a cockroach infestation, but was allowed to reopen the next day. The French Avenue at Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvina also faced a closure on June 4 for insufficient hot water, while Andalusia Kitchen in San Clemente was closed on the same day for a rodent infestation.
In addition, Quan Bun Ban Mai and 3 Blossoms in Westminster were both closed on June 4 for cockroach infestations, with Quan Bun Ban Mai reopening the next day. Lucky Seafood Supermarket in Garden Grove had to close on May 31 due to a sewage overflow and reopened on June 1. Quality Inn & Suites in Westminster was also closed on May 31, although the reason was not provided, and it reopened on June 1.
