Ontex Group NV, an international leader in care products and solutions, has completed the sale of its business in Pakistan to ASAIA Holding FZ. The transaction included Ontex’s plant and operations in Pakistan.
Gustavo Calvo Paz, CEO of Ontex, expressed his satisfaction with the divestment, stating that it will allow the company to focus more on its core retail brand and healthcare markets. He also thanked the team in Pakistan for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavors.
This divestment follows similar actions taken by Ontex in Mexico in February 2023 and Algeria in April 2024. The company is now exploring strategic options for its remaining activities in Brazil and Turkey.
