As both Ohio State and Michigan prepare for another showdown on the football field, the competition off the field continues to heat up. Earlier this year, former Buckeyes running backs coach Tony Alford made the switch to the Wolverines. Now, it has been reported that Ohio State’s assistant AD of football recruiting, Erin Dunston, will be taking on the Director of Operations role at Michigan.
Dunston’s departure is a significant blow to Ohio State as she played a crucial role in the team’s recruiting efforts. Her ties to Michigan, through her sister, Jillian, who is an assistant women’s basketball coach and former player for the Wolverines, likely played a part in her decision.
This move by Dunston adds more fuel to the already intense rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan. As both teams prepare for another showdown on the field, the competition off the field continues to heat up.
