Nvidia, a chip company based in Santa Clara, California, has topped the 2024 Axios Harris Poll 100 list of the most visible brands in America. The survey involved 6,273 Americans and determined the 100 companies most prominent in the minds of the public.
Nvidia excelled across various categories in the survey, including trajectory, culture, vision, and growth. It ranked first in these areas and also highly in products & services, character, citizenship, trust, and ethics.
The company’s success was further underscored by its first-quarter earnings for fiscal year 2025 which exceeded Wall Street’s expectations. Nvidia reported record revenue of $26 billion which is a significant increase of 262% from the previous year. This growth was mainly attributed to the success of Nvidia’s Hopper chips which are crucial for training and inferencing artificial intelligence models.
Nvidia’s achievements in the industry have led to its unprecedented milestone of being the first chipmaker to reach a $2 trillion market cap in February and becoming the third-most valuable company in the world in March. The company’s innovation and success have solidified its position as a leader in the chip industry.
