Nvidia Surpasses Apple, Microsoft to Become Most Valuable Public Company in the World, Reveals Innovative Technology and Future Plans at GTC AI Conference

Nvidia Becomes World’s Most Valuable Company, Surpassing Microsoft and Apple in Market Cap

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently shared exciting news about the company’s growth at the Nvidia GTC Artificial Intelligence Conference in San Jose, California. Nvidia has surpassed both Apple and Microsoft to become the most valuable public company in the world, with a market cap of $3.33 trillion. This achievement comes after a 3.2% increase in the company’s stock price, which has risen by 181.7% so far this year.

Nvidia’s success can be attributed to its innovative technology, including the Hopper chips used for artificial intelligence training and inferencing. These chips have driven record-breaking revenue and value for the company, especially during the generative AI boom. In March, Nvidia unveiled the successor to the Hopper chips, named Blackwell, which will start shipping in the second quarter and be in customers’ hands by the fourth quarter. Jensen Huang announced that revenue from Blackwell AI platform will contribute to the company’s growth this year.

Looking ahead, Nvidia has ambitious plans for the future. Huang revealed the Blackwell Ultra chip for 2025 and the next-generation AI chip platform, Rubin, expected in 2026. He also mentioned that the company will follow a “one-year rhythm” for announcing new chips. With this commitment to innovation and continued growth, Nvidia is positioned to maintain its leadership in the tech industry.
