Nuvei Corporation, a Canadian fintech company listed on the TSX under the ticker symbol NVEI, has announced Gang Wang as its new Chief Technology Officer. Wang will be reporting directly to Nuvei’s Chair and CEO Philip Fayer and will head Nuvei’s global technology team, collaborating with former CTO Max Attias, who has been named Chief Information Officer.
Wang brings more than 25 years of experience leading technology teams to his new role at Nuvei. He has a proven track record of driving innovation for large organizations, having spent the past decade developing cutting-edge architectures and systems for Intuit. In addition, Wang held senior technology roles at Stripe, where he served as Head of Financial Data and Head of Payment Methods.
Wang expressed his excitement about joining Nuvei and contributing to its growth journey. He stated that he is looking forward to leveraging his experience to advance the company’s technology strategy and maintain its position as a leader in the evolving payments industry. With this new organizational structure in place, Wang and Attias aim to drive innovation across all aspects of technology while ensuring the continued delivery of best-in-class services to customers and partners.
