NuLiv Science, a company that specializes in plant-based nutraceutical ingredients, recently published a study on the effectiveness and safety of Verbasnol™ for treating moderate to severe acne in females. The study was conducted over two months and targeted adult women with poor Global Acne Grading Systems (GAGS) scores. Participants were given either Verbasnol™ capsules or a placebo for 56 days.
Results showed significant improvements in GAGS scores by day 28, with further enhancements observed by day 56. These improvements included improvements in complexion, luminosity, and overall skin quality. The CEO of NuLiv Science, Richard Wang, emphasized the importance of these findings in demonstrating the potential of incorporating Verbasnol™ into skincare formulations. He highlighted that the research data could be used by skincare and beauty brands to strengthen and differentiate their products in the market.
