Notre Dame Football Landing Top QB Recruit in Grubbs: Implications for Future Talent Acquisition

Notre Dame secures top quarterback recruit for 2026 season

Notre Dame football program has been on a mission to land high-level quarterbacks since Marcus Freeman took the helm. On Saturday, they secured another top recruit in the form of Noah Grubbs, a 4-star quarterback from Florida in the 2026 class.

Grubbs is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 188 pounds, and he is ranked as the nation’s No. 118 overall prospect and 10th at his position according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. With his addition to the team, Notre Dame has now brought in several highly rated quarterbacks in recent recruiting cycles, including Kenny Minchey, CJ Carr, Deuce Knight.

The Irish have been stockpiling top talent at the position and with Grubbs on board, there is hope that he will help attract other elite players to join him at Notre Dame. The commitment of Grubbs solidified his choice over Michigan, UNC and Miami. His presence on the team will have a positive impact on recruiting and bring in more talented players to South Bend.
