Northern New Mexico: 8 Innovative Technology and Manufacturing Businesses Receive RDC Funding Boost

Los Alamos Reporter: Regional Development Corporation awards $145,978 from TEAM Fund.

The Regional Development Corporation (RDC) has announced eight 2024 RDC Technology & Manufacturing (TEAM) Fund Awardees, showcasing the growth of technology and manufacturing businesses in northern New Mexico. These companies range from closed-loop climate-forward businesses to precision prototype machining, high-power capacitor assemblies fabrication, molecular biotechnology, brain health assessment technology, materials technology, hand-crafted premium distillery, and a small batch coffee roaster.

The awardees include Broken Arrow Glass Recycling in Santa Fe County, Jona Manufacturing Services in Los Alamos County, KALTRON Pulsed Power Systems in Los Alamos County, Mercury Bio in Santa Fe County, NeuroGeneces in Santa Fe County, Odysseus Technologies in Los Alamos County, Rolling Still Distillery in Taos County, and Wolf and Mermaid Enchanted Roasters in Santa Fe County.

The RDC Technology & Manufacturing (TEAM) Fund provides no-interest loans to manufacturing and technology-based companies that are focused on growth and job creation. Since 2006, the RDC has awarded $4.7 million in funding to 121 technology and manufacturing businesses in the seven-county region it serves. The RDC is a private non-profit economic development organization that supports businesses and communities in Northern New Mexico through programs like Business Retention & Extension, Workforce Development, Capacity Building
