NOAA Taps Cadmus and Riverside for Multi-Million Dollar Contract to Enhance Climate Risk Analyses

Cadmus, a leading provider of environmental services, has secured a multi-million dollar contract with Riverside Technology, Inc. to support the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The contract aims to enhance NOAA’s service delivery and develop new data and services for climate risk analyses.

Riverside will offer science and engagement support services to meet NCEI’s requirements in the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Cadmus, on the other hand, will utilize its expertise in climate, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to ensure equitable access to actionable climate data.

Under the contract, Cadmus will spearhead user engagement efforts for the Riverside team through NCEI’s Industry Proving Grounds. By conducting numerous interviews, events, surveys, and other activities each year, Cadmus specialists will engage with six key sectors of the economy.

Kline, President and CEO of Cadmus expressed his pride in leading the national user engagement initiative on behalf of NOAA in collaboration with Team Riverside. He highlighted that with funding from the IRA and BIL, the project will provide critical resources to help underserved communities and key sectors of the U.S. economy across all states and territories to adapt and enhance resilience to climate risks and impacts. This task order is part of Cadmus’ success in winning contracts under the ProTech Satellites 2.0 IDIQ vehicle, showcasing their continued growth and success in the environmental services sector.
