Flag football is set to grow as the NFL takes a significant step by creating a new position of vice president, head of flag football and hiring Stephanie Kwok to fill it. Kwok, an entrepreneurial leader and Harvard Business School graduate, will be responsible for driving growth in flag football both domestically and internationally.
Kwok’s passion for flag football began as a competitive player who played for over 10 years. She believes that expanding the accessibility and inclusivity of the sport will allow more kids to have the opportunity to play and enjoy it. With previous experience at companies like Reforge, FanDuel, and Madison Square Garden, Kwok brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her new role with the NFL.
As co-founder of a company that organized competitive flag football tournaments for adults, Kwok has a deep understanding of the sport and its potential for growth. Reporting directly to Troy Vincent, the NFL’s executive vice president of football operations, Kwok is poised to help advance the sport of flag football and make it more affordable, accessible, and inclusive for players of all ages and backgrounds. Vincent expresses excitement about Kwok joining the team and her passion for expanding the game that has gained popularity worldwide.
