NFL Star Matt Henningsen to Coach Kids at 19th Annual Pro Football Camp

Matt Henningsen, a defensive end for the Denver Broncos, will be a coach at the 19th Annual Pro Football Camp. The camp will take place from June 24 to June 26 at John Venezia Community Park in Colorado Springs from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Heidi Welge, Executive Director of Pro Football Camp, is thrilled about having NFL athletes like Henningsen teach kids about football.

Henningsen was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft after playing college football at the University of Wisconsin from 2017-2021. His rookie season saw him play all 17 games and achieve 40 tackles, one sack, and two pass deflections. Henningsen expressed his excitement about coaching young players at the Pro Football Camp and connecting with the community of Colorado Springs.

On June 23, Henningsen will participate in the “Meet the Pros” event at Back East Bar and Grill in Briargate, where he will sign autographs. He will also speak during “Praise with the Pros” on June 25. The camp is open for registration for kids aged seven to fourteen years old.
