Cole Wehrle, the talented designer behind Root and Oath, is gearing up to launch Arcs, a new science fiction strategy game set to be released in October. The captivating art by Kyle Ferrin brings the dark yet whimsical universe to life.
In Arcs, players find themselves on the edge of the galaxy and must compete with others while setting their own objectives. With the help of multi-use cards, players can seize the initiative by following the leader, changing tactics, or preparing for the next round of play. Battles are resolved through a single roll of the dice as players build up their navies and strategize with three different types of dice.
The game features numerous components such as 100 wooden ships and agents, 18 beautifully engraved dice, a six-panel board, and cards featuring over 60 unique pieces of art. Arcs is aimed at 2-4 players aged 14 and up and offers a playing time of 60-120 minutes, making it perfect for game nights with friends or family.
