Aeternum: A New World set to launch on PC and console in the near future

In a thrilling announcement, Amazon Games has revealed that New World: Aeternum will be launching on October 15, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. This enhanced version of the original New World was officially confirmed at Summer Game Fest on June 9 and was accompanied by a stunning reveal trailer for the massively multiplayer online game (MMO).

New World: Aeternum is an updated version of the original game, which was initially launched in 2021 on Steam. This version includes all of the base game content as well as brand-new features such as a large-scale player vs. player zone, a 10-player raid, end-game solo trials, updated character archetypes and much more.

For the first time ever, New World will be available on consoles with cross-platform play allowing users on different consoles and PCs to team up and play together online. Set on the supernatural island of Aeternum, where shipwrecked explorers must forge their destiny in a world filled with danger and opportunity, this game promises an unforgettable experience.

In New World: Aeternum players can engage in real-time combat using various weapons like swords, guns and magic. They can face off against enemies in head-to-head battles or participate in large-scale player vs player conflicts.
