Arizona’s 2025 recruiting class continues to grow with the addition of Irving, Texas, wide receiver Terry Shelton. Shelton is the third Texan to commit to the Wildcats in just one day and brings athleticism and length to Arizona’s wide receiver corps.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 200 pounds, Shelton has an impressive wingspan of nearly 80 inches. He has showcased his speed with a reported 4.47 40-yard dash time and demonstrates impressive athleticism on the basketball court with a 40-plus inch vertical jump. In his junior season, Shelton put up solid numbers with 32 receptions for 629 yards and eight touchdowns.
Shelton chose Arizona over offers from Kansas, Boston College, and Illinois among others, solidifying his commitment to the Wildcats. With Shelton’s addition to the roster, Arizona’s recruiting class now boasts seven total commitments as they continue to add talent for the future.
