The Village Shuttle ride request app has been launched by Snowmass as the shuttle service begins its summer schedule. This app, similar to Aspen’s Downtowner app, will allow riders to request shuttle rides through the app. The transportation department announced in February that it would license the Downtowner software to upgrade the Village Shuttle’s ride request system.
The app can be downloaded from app stores or visited at bit.ly/Village_Shuttle_App. Users can request a ride through the app, which will direct them to the nearest Village Shuttle station for pick up. They can search destinations by address, popular destination names, or category.
In addition, the Village Shuttle will start running its summer 2024 schedule on June 3. The shuttle will operate on eight set routes from 7 a.m. to midnight daily. Business members of the Snowmass community are invited to a Business After Hours event at the Collective Hall in Base Village on June 5 from 4-6 p.m. This free networking opportunity is for Snowmass business owners and their guests to promote their businesses in a relaxed setting while making new contacts and meeting their neighbors. Refreshments will be provided by Mawita.
