The Putnam County Bank Sports Complex, a new addition to Hurricane Bridge Park, has officially opened for the summer season in Hurricane, West Virginia. The complex features four baseball fields and is expected to draw in visitors and contribute to the economic development of Hurricane and its surrounding areas.
The Mayor of Hurricane, Scott Edwards, expressed excitement about the economic impact and benefits the new complex will bring to the city. Other features at Hurricane Bridge Park include a disc golf course, batting cages, and a baseball-themed playground. Sixty teams are set to compete at various parks in Putnam County, with the first game scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 1st.
