With over 150 challenges based on classic NES™ games such as Super Mario Bros.™ 3, The Legend of Zelda™, Donkey Kong™, and Metroid™, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to hone your skills and become a champion.
Start off by testing your mettle in the first level of Super Mario Bros. or see how fast you can defeat an enemy in Kirby’s Adventure™. As you progress, tackle tougher challenges that will truly test your limits and push yourself to become a true Nintendo World Champion.
Compete against players from around the world online in the World Championship Mode with a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Earn a spot on the leaderboards by completing five challenges that rotate weekly. Compare your times with players of different skill levels or watch the best times to learn how to improve. The challenges are designed to be “byte-sized” so you don’t need to master entire games to feel like a champion.
Challenge your friends in the local Party Mode, where up to 8 players can compete individually or in themed Challenge packs. With an automatic rewind feature that can undo mistakes, even beginners can join in on the fun. You can also use Nintendo Entertainment System Controllers (sold separately) to enhance your gaming experience.
