Juventus Women have announced the signing of goalkeeper Alessia Capelletti, who will be joining the team until June 30th, 2027. The 25-year-old keeper previously played for Parma, where she made a strong impression during their first-ever Serie A season in 2022/23. Despite overcoming a long-term injury, she helped Parma secure a third-place finish in Serie B last season.

Before her time at Parma, Alessia spent two seasons with Empoli and showcased her skills on the field. Although she had a successful personal season with Parma in 2022, the team unfortunately finished at the bottom of Serie A and was relegated. They narrowly missed out on a promotion playoff spot in their first season in the second tier.

Alessia stood out in 2022 by making more saves in Serie A than other goalkeepers such as Laura Giuliani from AC Milan and Sara Cetinja from Pomigliano (now with Inter). She was recognized as the Best Under-23 goalkeeper in the 2021/22 season. Now, Alessia embarks on a new journey with Juventus Women. The team is excited to have her on board and looks forward to seeing her contribute to their success on the field. Welcome to Juventus, Alessia!
