New Interim Associate Director at VA Northern Indiana Health Care Brings Extensive Leadership Experience

Benjamin Dillon at VA Northern Indiana Health Care

Benjamin T. Dillon, MBA, ACHE, has joined the VA Northern Indiana Health Care team as the Interim Associate Director. Before joining VA Northern Indiana, Mr. Dillon worked at the Veterans Affairs Integrated Health Care System in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he oversaw daily operations at 11 locations and managed a team of 272 personnel. He also collaborated with various departments such as Human Resources, the Office of Information Technology, and the National Contracting Office VISN 10.

Prior to his role at VA Northern Indiana, Mr. Dillon served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and held other roles within the Veterans Health Administration Procurement & Logistics Office. His professional background includes starting his Federal Service in the U.S. Army as a Civil Affairs Specialist and eventually becoming an Intelligence Analyst at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He completed his undergraduate degree in Operations Management at the University of Cincinnati in 2008 and received a master’s in business administration with a concentration in Medical Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011.

As a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Mr. Dillon brings extensive experience and leadership skills to his new role at VA Northern Indiana Health Care. He is also certified as a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma by Villanova University and holds FAC P/PM senior level certification and COR Level III certification, which will be valuable assets for him to lead effectively this new team in achieving their goals
