Health care company acquires retail space at Parkland Plaza in Columbia

A CVS-associated health care brand, Oak Street Health, has recently acquired retail space in downtown Columbia. The lease of 10,865 square feet of retail space at Parkland Plaza was facilitated by Colliers South Carolina’s Rox Pollard, Danny Bonds and John Gressette on behalf of Parkland Associates. Oak Street Health, part of CVS Health, offers primary health care services for seniors at over 200 locations nationwide.

The new clinic by Oak Street Health will be located in the outparcel building on the State Street side of Parkland Plaza. This addition will complement the existing health and wellness tenants at the plaza and serve the downtown Columbia, Cayce, and West Columbia areas. Parkland Plaza is a 174,833-square-foot shopping center near the USC campus, Columbia’s Central Business District, the University of South Carolina baseball stadium, and riverfront developments. The plaza recently underwent renovations to give it a new, contemporary look.
