Bridge of Grace and Alliance Health are partnering to open a new health center in southeast Fort Wayne. The clinic, which will be located at 909 Elmrow Drive in the Bridge of Grace complex, will receive funding from Parkview Health’s Community Health Improvement program as well as other sources including state, local, and private money.
Services at the clinic will cater to the whole family, offering prenatal to primary care as well as mental health services for both children and adults. The clinic will also provide Medicaid and insurance assistance to patients. Team members who speak various languages including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, and Burmese will be available at the facility to assist clients.
The founder of Bridge of Grace, Javier Mondragon, believes the new clinic will be a game-changer for the community due to its convenient location and walkability to the neighborhood. Bridge of Grace is a compassionate ministries center associated with Many Nations Church and affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene. Their board includes former FWPD Chief Garry Hamilton as well as area business and nonprofit leaders.
An open house is scheduled for June 12 for the new clinic, which is set to open in mid-June.
