Viega Welcomes New Leadership to Press Technology Company

Markus Brettschneider has been appointed as the global CEO for Viega Group, effective in September. He will be replaced by Andreas Reger, who is set to take over as the new President and CEO of press technology manufacturer Viega LLC starting on Monday, April 1. This move comes after the current global CEO, Claus Holst-Gydesen, decided to move to Viega’s supervisory board.

Reger joins Viega from BBB Industries, where he was the President of the Undercar Business Unit. Prior to that, he held regional CEO roles for Pollmann North America, ALPLA North America, and DÜRR Ecoclean, Inc. He has a background in International Business Management, with degrees from universities in Spain, Germany, and the United States.

Viega LLC is currently in the midst of a capital investment plan that will see over $300 million invested in their Kansas production facility and new Ohio facility over the next five years. Brettschneider expressed his confidence in Reger, describing him as a growth-driven leader with significant experience in leading growing businesses and ensuring that growth benefits all stakeholders.

Reger spoke about his attraction to Viega’s industry-leading products, commitment to quality, and values-based culture. He is looking forward to joining the company at a time of growth and expansion. Brettschneider expressed his excitement about Reger’s leadership and commitment to a smooth transition in the coming months.
