New Flag Football Team, Boston Brigade: AFFL Debut and Exciting Home Games in Quincy

New Flag Football Team to Debut in Quincy this Spring

A new professional flag football team, the Boston Brigade, is set to make its debut in Quincy for its inaugural season. The team will play at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium and is one of the first four teams ever established in the AFFL (American Flag Football League).

Former BSU quarterback James Cahoon made an impression on NFL scouts during Holy Cross Pro Day on March 21, 2024. Cahoon showcased his skills and athleticism, attracting attention from professional football teams.

The Boston Brigade will kick off its season with a home double-header against the Nashville Nighthawks and Las Vegas Lucky Sevens on May 11 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available on the team’s website. The team’s eight-game season will begin in Las Vegas on April 27 and end in Nashville on June 15, with the championship game set for June 22 in Dallas.

Another home double-header is scheduled for June 1 against the Dallas Ocelots and Las Vegas at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., with flag football being added to the Olympics schedule for the year 2028, which makes it an exciting time to be a part of this sport
