New Falcons Defensive Back Antonio Hamilton Sr. Brings Experience and versatility to the Team

Falcons add cornerback Antonio Hamilton to their roster

The Atlanta Falcons have announced the signing of cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr., who previously played for the Arizona Cardinals for three seasons. During his time with the Cardinals, Hamilton had 40 tackles, 11 passes defended, and one interception in 14 games with nine starts in 2023. He is the third defensive player the Falcons have signed in free agency, joining Eddie Goldman and Kentavius Street, and they have also re-signed Nate Landman.

Hamilton began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders in 2016 before moving on to the New York Giants in 2018-19 and then to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020. In his eight-year career, Hamilton has accumulated a total of 172 tackles, 25 passes defended, and two interceptions in 98 games with 18 starts.
