The Wisconsin men’s basketball program has announced the jersey numbers for each player ahead of the 2024-25 season. This year, the team will welcome six new faces to campus, marking a significant shift in personnel for the Badgers.
Among the new additions are three top transfers: Camren Hunter from Central Arkansas, John Tonje from Missouri, and Xavier Amos from Northern Illinois. These players will be filling the roles left vacant by star players AJ Storr, Chucky Hepburn, and Connor Essegian, who transferred to Kansas, Louisville, and Nebraska, respectively.
Hunter, who averaged 16.9 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game as a sophomore, will be wearing No. 3 previously worn by Essegian. Meanwhile, Amos is known for his impressive shooting percentages will don No. 13 and Tonje who was a former Colorado State player will wear No.9
In addition to the transfers freshmen Daniel Freitag and Jack Robison are joining the team. Freitag is a highly ranked point guard from Minnesota who will wear No. 5 while Robison is a top prospect in the 2024 recruiting class who will sport No
