The Franklin Community Co-op has welcomed Caitlin von Schmidt as its new outreach and communications manager. Von Schmidt started her role on March 19 and is excited to join the co-op family, especially during a time of expansion into the Wilson’s building. General Manager John Williams expressed his excitement about having von Schmidt on the team, citing her previous experience with the Greenfield Business Association and the Mayor’s Office as contributing to her success in this new position.
Meanwhile, Amy Britt, who previously held the position of outreach and communications manager at Franklin Community Co-op, is transitioning to new opportunities. Williams extended his gratitude to her for her service and contribution to the organization.
On a different note, the MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center will be hosting a Multi-Industry Job Fair at Greenfield Community College on April 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Employers such as Berkshire East/Zoar Outdoor, Community Action Pioneer Valley, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst will be present at the event. This fair prioritizes Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Program customers from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by all other job seekers. No advance registration is required to attend the Job Fair
